The JCID V1S Pro Programmer (Host Unit Only) is an engineering-grade diagnostic console and multi-functional repair host engineered for chip-level micro-soldering labs, mobile motherboard refurbishing facilities, and high-volume Apple service centers. Designed to replace multiple standalone handheld programmers, the V1S Pro integrates a high-performance dual-core processor, an embedded Linux operating system, and a high-definition capacitive touchscreen to streamline complex logic board diagnostics, component data migration, and memory programming tasks.
This host unit features universal backward compatibility, allowing technicians who already own JCID PRO1000S testing modules and JCID V1SE adaptor boards to connect their existing hardware directly via the integrated dual-bay interface. From Screen True Tone restoration and battery health/cycle modifications to dot-projector Face ID repairs and PCIe/NVMe NAND storage expansions, the V1S Pro operates as the unified hardware centerpiece of the modern repair workbench.
Key Engineering Features & Bench Advantages:
- Backward Ecosystem Compatibility: Full native support for legacy JCID modules—connect your existing PRO1000S modules and V1SE expansion boards without needing to repurchase functional adapters.
- Dual-Bay Modular Interface: Features two dedicated hardware bays: an upper socket bay for high-speed NAND modules (BGA70, BGA110, BGA315) and a side expansion interface for peripheral boards (Screen, Battery, Face ID, FPC, Vibration).
- Standalone Touchscreen Operation: Powered by a responsive multi-touch display and an intuitive graphical UI, allowing complete read, write, check, and edit workflows directly on the bench without a mandatory PC tether.
- Integrated Wi-Fi & Dual-Band Networking: Connects directly to local Wi-Fi networks for over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, cloud-based SysCFG data retrieval, and automated algorithm upgrades.
- JCID Repair Assistant PC Integration: Plugs into PC workstations via USB Type-C for deep partition management, automated data backups, hex-level editing, and batch flashing.
- Intelligent Electrical Safety Protection: Built-in over-current, reverse-polarity, and short-circuit monitoring protects sensitive logic board components and technician fingers from accidental shorts during live-socket testing.

Supported Repair Modules & Bench Functions:
- Screen & True Tone: Read, backup, and rewrite original display calibration data to restore True Tone, ambient light sensing, and touch response on original or aftermarket screens (iPhone 7 through 15 Series).
- Battery Data Modification: Read and modify cycle counts, reset battery health percentages, clear non-genuine battery pop-up warnings, and calibrate third-party replacement cells.
- Face ID & Dot Matrix Repair: Test, unbind, and rewrite dot projector encrypted parameters; repair "Face ID Not Available" and "Move iPhone a Little Lower/Higher" errors without soldering jumper wires using JCID Tag-On/Non-Removal flex cables.
- Receiver & Ear Speaker FPC: Restore True Tone and ambient light sensor functionality when replacing torn or water-damaged front ear-speaker sensor flex assemblies.
- High-Speed NAND Storage Programming: When paired with BGA70, BGA110, or BGA315 modules, performs SYSCFG data extraction, Wi-Fi unbinding, memory formatting, and storage expansions (128GB to 1TB).
Recommended Bench Operation Guide:
- Initial Setup & Power: Connect the V1S Pro host to a stable 5V/2A USB-C power source or dedicated bench supply. Power on the console and complete the initial Wi-Fi network setup to ensure system firmware and algorithm definitions are up to date.
- Module Attachment:
- For V1SE-style flat boards: Slide the adaptor onto the side alignment rails until the multi-pin connector locks flush.
- For PRO1000S-style modules or NAND clamshell bases: Seat the module directly onto the top dual-header docking bay.
- Component Diagnostic: Place the target component (battery, screen cable, Face ID flex, or desoldered NAND chip) onto the module socket. The V1S Pro will automatically detect the component and display serial status, cycle health, or SYSCFG parameters on the LCD.
- Data Read / Transfer: Tap Read to save the original parameters to the internal storage or local SD card. Connect the target replacement component/blank chip and tap Write to flash the verified data string.
- Firmware & Cloud Sync: Connect via USB Type-C to a PC running the official JCID Repair Assistant to access advanced hex editing, cloud repair databases, and automated repair logs.
